How To Create A New Timesheet

Zumzum Financials Knowledge Base

    Overview:

Keep all your timesheet information in Zumzum Financials and integrate it with your standard and custom Salesforce objects.

To effectively track your data, it is essential to add Time Sheet Activity Codes in your system. To create a new timesheet entry, navigate to the Timesheet tab and click “New.” Select the Time Sheet Year if it differs from the default, and choose a Time Sheet Month for which you haven’t created a record. In the Time Sheet Details row, enter the date, optionally add the Opportunity and Account, provide a narrative, input the hours as a decimal (e.g., 0.25, 0.5, 0.75, up to 8 hours), and select the appropriate Activity Code. Click “Add” in the Options column for each Time Sheet Detail row, then repeat this process for all entries you wish to record. Once all details are entered, click “Save” to record your timesheet entries, which will be marked as Pending. Consider implementing a timesheet approval process using Salesforce workflow automation tools to streamline and ensure accuracy in tracking and approving timesheet entries.
