Overview:
Customer statements are crucial documents that summarise the transactions between a company and its customers, detailing outstanding invoices, payments, and credits over a specified period. They provide essential financial clarity by offering a comprehensive view of the customer’s financial status, which aids in managing cash flow and ensuring timely payments. Regularly issued statements help remind customers of overdue balances and facilitate the resolution of disputes by providing a clear record of all transactions. Additionally, customer statements support accurate record-keeping and simplify reconciliation processes. By maintaining transparency and providing up-to-date information, they enhance customer satisfaction and strengthen business relationships.
The issue arises when the default email template for “Company Settings” is missing, leading to errors in email communications. To resolve this, you need to update the default template in the system settings. Navigate to Setup in Zumzum and access Company Setup. Click on Edit to modify the Company Setup details, locate the “Default Cust. Email Statement Template” field, and enter the appropriate template value. Save your changes to ensure the updated template is applied, thereby correcting the error and restoring proper email functionality.
Issue: The account screen creates an error
The reason of the account screen creates error is that the default email template for the “Company Settings” is missing.
Solution
To change this follow these steps:
- go to Setup (Zumzum) and find Company Setup.
- Select Edit on the Company Setup
- Find the field “Default Cust. Email Statement Template” field and enter a value
- Click Save to make your changes
